1991 Ford Festiva Running and Dash light problem
(too old to reply)

Everything works fine but the running lights (including tail lights)
and the dash lights (but the idiot lights work and Head lights work).
Fuse to tail lights is intacked. I noticed there is no voltage to the
fuse though. With the headlights on, there should be voltage at the
fuse to turn on the running and tail lights ext.. The wires coming
from the headlight switch are small but intacked (too small to
actually be powering the headlights).. I am thinking it must run to a
relay from the headlight switch then to the fuse. Anyone know where
this relay is located or have any other suggestions?

Thank you,

Ben

For those interested or if someone has the same problem and find this thread
with a search in latter times.. The relay is near the passenger side
headlight. To get to it, the air filter housing must be removed.. NAPA
doesn't have a cross, neither does shucks, but it is marked H270. The relay
replacement is AR188 at NAPA even though it doesn't mention for Ford
applications. The original at Ford comes with a rubber boot P/N E92714N084B
but keep the original rubber boot and buy the NAPA AR188 for half the cost.
