93' EFI starts and runs well when cold. However, when hot it will not start
until it cools down. This is an intermittant problem although it seems to
be getting worse. I have replaced the fuel filter & ran an injector
cleaner thru it. Just did an ignition tune up. Any suggestions??
Thanx.........

For those interested, the Festiva does indeed have a electronic
module. It is located under the distributor cap on the distributor.
and replacing it did solve the problem I was having.
I just bought a 89 Festiva and when bringing it home found out why it
must have been for sale. I picked it up about a 3 hour drive from
home. It made the first 1 1/2 no problem but then suddenly stalled
acting like it was out of fuel. After waiting 5 minutes it started
again, but about 10 minutes later died again. I did this all the way
home, me waiting on the side of the road for 15 minutes, driving for
10 -15 minutes and stalling again.
I know my old 79 Maverick had a electronic module that did the same
thing and so it was a quick fix. Is there something like that on a
Festiva or what else could I try?
